TLDR: Refreshing beer, lively ambience One of our favorite places for a fun and easy beer run. Never disappointed with the beers, food or the energy at the place. Love the watermelon wheat! Note - Really crowded on game days!

We came here right after opening prior to a 1pm baseball game. The restaurant was busy but accommodating groups inside and out. Everyone we talked to was in a good mood and kind- which with two kids in the group isn't always a given. The service was fantastic and super quick. They really have the game day rush down! We had a great time and our beers and food were delicious. We've always enjoyed 21st amendment beers and I'm so glad that will extend to the restaurant as well!

Although I still have gripes about early closing times (earlier review), last call has been creeping later. But this re-review is about the food. Menu has been updated and dishes are really nice! Appetizers and small plates are beautifully presented and made with extra care, and there are lots of choices in addition to the usual fries and wings (though even the wings have improved). Haven't strayed into entrees yet but I see lovely plates coming out of the kitchen. And of course the beer. We're all here for the beer.

Its that time a year! Baseball season, and that means the launch of Watermelon Wheat at 21st Amendment. Went to their location on 2nd street and they made some great changes, removing some booths, increasing the space, and overall cleaning up the restaurant. As alway the staff was very friendly and beer was great!

21st Amendment is a dependable dining and drinking spot, with fantastic brews on tap and tasty food. I've been in here a handful of times, and each time has been fun. Last time there I went with my partner and we enjoyed two of their seasonal beers; the one that stood out most was the Fireside Chat. It's a dark and flavorful brew that pairs exceptionally well with their chili, which is also delicious. It's prepared with free range beef, which impresses me. You seat yourself at the bar or a table. A server comes up pretty quickly. Once the food and drink arrives, you may have to raise your hand to get their attention for other stuff, but that doesn't bother me. It's a laid back vibe here; and I like that. That said, food and drink arrive pretty quickly... never an issue. Ceilings are tall, and there is an upstairs loft for private parties. It can get loud when crowded but not annoyingly so. Multiple TV's play sports games. It's a cozy, feel good kinda spot. They have excellent chicken wings, but I'd love to see a boneless option, with organic chicken, and a vegan option to delight my vegan friends... but that's just me being picky. I'll continue to return here. Great spot to hang with the friends, or for a low key date night.

This is truly my favorite brewery for their beer. They have a beer called Hell or high watermelon, and I will go out of my way whenever I'm in the city to order it and or purchase it if I see it in a store. the service is fantastic. The only time I've ever been disappointed is when they closed early because the Giants game ended, which I totally understand where they were coming from. I've stopped in during conferences and gotten a quick bite for lunch as well as a couple of beers just to make it through the rest of the conference and I have zero regrets for that. I highly recommend you coming in and trying some thing of theirs. Their french fries are fantastic and again their beer is the best.

Daughter visiting from NJ, she is a big fan of the brews of 21st Amendment. During a day in SF the 21st Amendment Brew Pub was a must. It's a large space, chill atmosphere on the Sunday we went. Good array of brews, something for everyone. They also have a full menu of food to choose from. Daughter ordered the sampler, picking out the beers she wanted to try. I tend to like lagers and lower alcohol brews so I opted for the Amendment Lager which was really good. Like I said chill atmosphere, very cool bartender who gave us some great advice on a late night bar in the area. The Sunday we went the 49ers were playing the Eagles, several TV's to view the game and it was a good crowd cheering on the local team. Was about to order another lager when I saw the bartender making a Michelada and decided to have one. Wow, it was awesome and I have had a bunch. Gotta remember for the next visit. Give 21st Amendment Brew Pub a try, you won't regret it!

I had a flight, and it was quite an enjoyable experience. The flight included four beer selections: "Hell or High Mango," "Brew Free! or Die Cold IPA," "Fireside Chat," and "Amendment Lager." My personal favorite from the flight was "Hell or High Mango." It's a light and refreshing straw-colored beer with a delightful fruity sweetness, brewed with real mangoes. The tropical floral notes in this beer really hit the spot.
